University of Redlands

Having witnessed wildly successful reinventions of Las Vegas for over 25 years, I find it unsettling to see 13% unemployment, tent cities, homes in foreclosure, and lost people wandering around wondering what will become of them. Well, people, you don’t have to look far to see that there are better choices than welfare and unemployment!

This the time to earn a degree…the one you always wish you had followed through on. You don’t have to look far to find several interesting and much needed choices when picking out your goal. In Las Vegas alone, we have need for teachers, creative writers, and anything related to theater or the entertainment field.

How about economics? Nevada is in serious need of economic restructuring! Another biggie would be the environmental sciences. Las Vegas has become painfully aware of the need to preserve water, save our resources, and educate the public. In an attempt to get things started we have opened a wetlands preserve, and are working at increasing and improving our park system.

Stop shaking your head. It isn’t too late to do something meaningful with your life. Did you know that the University of Redlands, located in Southern California, offers degrees in all of these courses? They welcome students of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. Over half of their students have been receiving at least partial financial aid.

The University of Redlands ranking is high with excellent programs, teachers, and community support. While earning a degree, students are encouraged to contribute to the well being of the community and the environment.

So get off your duff and quit feeling sorry for yourself. Check out the links below and open your mind to change.
